There was a feeling of regret for having believed her all those years before when he could have simply seen through her lies to save both myself as well as her the misery. He was also going to have to tell Lucia the truth with Arienne, or rather discuss the situtation since he wanted to be a father to both little girls. After all, the youngest would not even remember her real father... perhaps it would be best to tell the two of them that he was to be their father now. The idea of them calling him 'His Grace' did not sit well. Sighing at she watched the three of them heading towards the manor, Lucien started the pony towards the stables so that he would pass it onto a stable boy. From there, he would return to the manor and continue with all of the work that he had to have fixed due to his brother's ways with spending money. He did not even want to thing of the debt that was owed because he would buy new gowns for his mistress rather than his own wife and children.
There was some hope since he had had a good amount of his own money from his status of being a war hero. He would have to speak to Arienne later on that night about their weddings plans since if he was to bring the account back to par, then he would have to use his own money. The wedding would take place but it would not be a large event. He wondered if her first wedding had been a large event, not that he had gone since he had been in a tavern drinking himself into a stupor and wishing he was dead.
And yet, there was chance for a better and more fruitful life now. Something that he was more than glad for at the moment.

Sitting by the pond, Vincent was feeling content as he was fishing for tonight's dinner. Atleast, that was what he was hoping for. It had been about five days since he had had a fit and he was trying not to have one since they made his mama and papa unhappy. His mother would cry sometimes but he tried not to have them. He certainly did not like them because he would black out and the world would become dark. He disliked this greatly since it was not fun. Bianca had told him that he would shake and move and his eyes would go white, like a demon possessed him.
Vincent was quite sure that was not the case and his mother had yelled at his sister for even thinking that her brother was possessed by a demon. He was sure that his mother was afraid that he had been possessed. However, his father had said that she was just afraid that he would hurt himself when he had a fit. The idea of him being hurt to his mother scaried her. And he could understand that. Looking over, he saw Lucia who was a year older than himself however, they had grown up together until when Vincent had been three years old. Some of his first memories had been playing with Lucia since Bianca had been too small to play with then.
Feeling a tug on his fishing line, his head whipped around so that he could pull in the fish. "Mama... Taute Arienne... look... I think I caught something." Using his strength, he looked around giving a gap toothed grin to them. "Papa!" He called, however he was suddenly pulled into the pond by the fish as the surface made a splash and he submerged underneath.
